Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data FactoryNXT collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this marketing site only. Data processed inside a deployed FactoryNXT platform instance belongs to the customer operating that instance and is governed by our agreement with them — in that context we act as a processor, not a controller.
1. What we collect
There are exactly two ways this site collects anything about you.
- The demo request form. Submitting it sends us the fields you filled in: full name and work email (both required), and optionally company, plant or line details, and your message. Nothing is collected until you press Request a demo.
- Request metadata attached to that submission. Our server records the time of submission and the IP address the request came from. This exists so we can investigate spam and abuse of the form, which is a public endpoint.
We do not run analytics, advertising, session recording, fingerprinting, or A/B testing on this site. Browsing pages without submitting the form leaves no record tied to you.
2. What we store in your browser
One item, in local storage: theme, holding either light, dark, or system. It remembers your appearance choice so the site does not flash the wrong colours on your next visit. It is never transmitted to us. If you never use the theme toggle, nothing is stored at all. See our Cookie Notice for detail.
3. Why we use it
Enquiry details are used to reply to you, arrange a demonstration, and follow up about your evaluation. Request metadata is used to keep the form usable and to investigate abuse.
Our lawful basis for handling enquiry details is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our product, and taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract. We do not sell personal data, share it with data brokers, or use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Who can see it
Submissions are stored on the server that hosts this site and are readable through a password-protected internal dashboard. Access is limited to FactoryNXT staff who handle sales enquiries. We do not pass enquiry details to third parties for their own purposes.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
5. Third parties this site contacts
Loading these pages causes your browser to fetch fonts and other assets from the providers we use to build and host the site. None of them receive your form submission, and none set cookies through this site beyond what is strictly needed to serve those assets.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any commercial relationship that follows, and are reviewed periodically so that records with no continuing purpose are deleted. If an enquiry does not lead anywhere, we delete it within 24 months. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
7. Security
The form endpoint validates and size-limits every submission, and the internal dashboard that displays enquiries requires authentication and is excluded from search engines. Our wider approach is described on the Security page.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a portable format, restrict or object to how we use it, and complain to your local data protection authority. We do not carry out automated decision-making.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the form and say what you would like us to do. We will respond within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first — usually by asking you to write from the address you originally submitted.
9. International transfers
Our hosting and the third-party providers listed above may process requests outside your country. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on the safeguards available under applicable data protection law.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date shown at the top of this page. Material changes affecting people who have already contacted us will be communicated directly.
11. Contact
Questions, requests, or complaints about this policy can be sent through the contact form, marked for the attention of the data protection contact.
